Kenny Desai has over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience as founder of TAK Group, driving all financial and operating decisions across a portfolio of construction, hospitality and healthcare businesses. A former importer, and founder of a publicly traded manufacturing company in India, Kenny sits on Aurous's credit committee, which approves all of its loan commitments. For the last 25 years, Kenny's philanthropic interests have supported sixteen different schools for underserved children across India. Kenny sits on the Advisory Board to the Governor of the State of New Jersey, and is on the New Jersey Governor’s Commission on India.

Kenny enjoys hiking, golfing, singing, and traveling internationally. He and his wife, Trupti, have three adult children.
